DIS, Sprint Join Forces To Offer New Ticket Packages For Limited Time
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona International Speedway and Sprint are putting fans in the driver seat when they purchase one of the new ticket packages which includes a NASCAR Sprint FanViewTM weekend rental. Ticket packages for the Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola on July 5, 2008 also include reserved seating on the famed Daytona Superstretch and start at $100, a $20 savings. The first device of its kind in any major sport, NASCAR Sprint FanView is a race scanner that combines live video and real-time data and statistics with all the features of a scanner as well as an exclusive audio-replay feature, priority scanning and pre-programmed audio channels. New this year on the video component, NASCAR Sprint FanView features four NASCAR HOTPASS® channels exclusively from DIRECTV® in addition to the in-car channels currently offered. NASCAR Sprint FanView also carries live broadcasts of ESPN's "NASCAR Now" and SPEED's "NASCAR Trackside" throughout each NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend. Packages are also currently available for 2009 DIRECTV® Speedweeks which includes the Budweiser Shootout and the 51st running of the Daytona 500 on February 15, 2009. This special pre-race package includes reserved seat admission and a NASCAR Sprint FanView rental for only $149. This special pricing is only available for a limited time.
